MEDICAL DISABILITY BENEFITS

If you are medically disabled by temporary or permanent illness, you may be able receive disability benefits.  California provides short-term State Disability Insurance (SDI) and United States of America provides long-term Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).  If you have a qualifying illness, you may apply for partial or full disability.  Patients not responding well to primary care treatment will likely be referred to a specialist for expert evaluation and treatment.
